At We Build Products, I work across defining the product, choosing how to build it and developing the business around it. I'm co-founder and Managing Director.
Defining the product
My work includes customer understanding, product shape and product-market fit. I own product and engineering for Regfiler, our live regulatory filing service.
Before Regfiler, we shipped a direct-to-consumer product that reached 600+ customers and 50+ five-star reviews.
Building systems people can account for
I built an AML/KYC platform for a European financial institution in eight months as the sole engineer. Our wider recent experience covers onboarding, fund reporting and risk methodologies.
Regfiler handles FATCA/CRS filing and is approved as a BZSt Datensender. WBP is ISO 27001 certified; I own the information security management system.

Alongside the products, I work on building the team and running WBP. That means deciding where we spend our time, who we need to hire and how we work together as the company grows.

Shopify
Platform architecture and core APIs for Shopify POS, spanning retail hardware and in-person payments.
Klarna
Founding engineer on the browser extension, alongside work on systems serving major merchants.
Spotcap
The underwriting front end and in-house design system, including accessibility, testability and internationalisation.
Indus Valley Partners
Risk systems, regulatory reporting and intraday limit monitoring for hedge funds and alternative asset managers.
